Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and any quotation you request through it. They are between you and Terra Safety B.V., registered in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The catalogue is not an offer

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to sell. The catalogue carries no prices, and product listings are an invitation for you to request a quotation. A contract comes into existence only when we issue a written quotation and you accept it, or when we confirm your order in writing.

Quote requests

Submitting a quote request costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It asks us to prepare a price for a specification you have described. We may decline a request, and we may ask for clarification before quoting.

Unless the quotation itself says otherwise, a quotation we issue is valid for 30 days and is subject to the goods remaining available. Prices are quoted excluding VAT and, unless expressly stated, excluding delivery.

Product information

We take care to describe products accurately, and the specifications, standards and classes shown are those given to us by the manufacturer and its notified body. Even so:

• Colours shown on screen are indicative. Monitors differ, and fluorescent fabrics in particular photograph differently from how they appear in daylight. Ask for a sample where an exact match matters.
• Measurements are subject to normal manufacturing tolerances and size charts are a guide, not a guarantee of fit.
• Manufacturers change specifications. Where a change affects a certification or a stated class, we update the product page and the accompanying documents.
• Obvious errors and omissions in catalogue information do not bind us.

Certification documents

Certificates, Declarations of Conformity, test reports and datasheets are published as issued by the manufacturer or the notified body concerned. We reproduce them faithfully and do not alter them. Selecting PPE appropriate to a particular workplace, and carrying out the risk assessment that informs that choice, remains the employer's responsibility — we can tell you what a garment is certified for, but not whether it is the right garment for your site. Use of this website

The text, photography, page designs and structured product data on this site belong to us or to our suppliers. You may read the site, and download and print certification documents for your own compliance records — that is what they are published for. You may not copy the catalogue or its images to republish them elsewhere, or scrape the site systematically.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the site available and its content correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page is free of error. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including our obligations as a supplier of PPE.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands, and disputes fall to the competent court in Rotterdam, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Where we supply goods, our general terms and conditions of sale apply in addition to these website terms; where the two conflict on a question of supply, the terms of sale prevail.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you use the site or request a quotation.
